QR code mobile feedback now available to SurveyOnTablet clients


SurveyOnTablet is happy to announce that it has just officially launched its QR code survey feature. By incorporating a mobile capability to surveys, your clients will now be able to voice their opinion not just via tablets but also through their personal smartphones. The latest function is available on all Pro Service Plans and adds a whole new dimension to customer feedback collection.

Linking surveys to a QR code makes  user participation more engaging and hassle-free. Clients can simply scan the QR code on their mobile phones in order to load a survey. SurveyOnTablet at Philoxenia 2013

Following the successful global launch of SurveyOnTablet during the World Travel Market in London earlier this month, SurveyOnTablet is now visiting the Greek travel market at Philoxenia. Philoxenia is the traditional official tourism display of Greece running for 28 consecutive years.

Official figures reveal that last year, Philoxenia saw a 300% increase in the participation of hotels and 18% increase in visitors. Now in its 29th year, Philoxenia 2013 is bigger than ever with Greek and international exhibitors and visitors from the full tourism spectrum, such as hotels, airlines, travel and tourism agencies, shipping companies, car hire services and travel technology.

The exhibition will take place at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Centre from Thursday 21 – Sunday 24 November, 2013. SurveyOnTablet has just returned from the Travel Tech Show at the World Travel Market (WTM) in London, the leading global event for the travel industry, and is happy to report that the event was an absolute success! SurveyOnTablet had one of the busiest stands per square metre throughout the four days of the show and the company generated a massive exhibitor and visitor interest. WTM 2013 itself announced to have “experienced an impressive overall delegate increase of 5%, covering increases in all major delegate categories” across the first three days.

SurveyOnTablet was also proud to support the international water aid charity Just a Drop by collecting donations on site, holding a raffle on our tablets and having a group dress up for charity. The funds raised at this year’s WTM will help bring a lasting supply of clean, safe water to primary school children in two schools in Kenya.

SurveyOnTablet generates 15 times more feedback than booking.com & TripAdvisor combined

SurveyOnTablet has just completed its performance research on hotels after three months of careful market monitoring. The results have been phenomenal! The research shows that hotels employing SurveyOnTablet receive on average 15 times more feedback than booking.com and TripAdvisor combined. This rate is achieved by using just one device. Performance results grow higher depending on the total number of devices used.

Another key finding of the research is that all hotels using SurveyOnTablet have reported an increase in their ratings on booking.com and TripAdvisor. On average our hotel  clients experienced a 0.57 point rise in their booking.com rating index. An upsurge in positive reviews online has also been  observed as an effect stemming from the utilisation of SurveyOnTablet .

What this all means is that those hotels are taking the right steps in response to the feedback, analytics and alert system that SurveyOnTablet provides for them. We are thrilled to see that SurveyOnTablet is proving to be so efficient. We will continue to strive to achieve even better results and happier client solutions.

SurveyOnTablet is honoured to receive a nomination for a BG Site 2013 award in the Best Mobile Application category. BG Site is one of the most prestigious web design competitions in Bulgaria. Currently in its 14th year, the competition is still running strong  and growing in popularity with the ever increasing spread of new information technology influence.

Nominations are spread across 13 different categories including websites, mobile and online campaigns. A professional jury made up of some of the best known names in the Bulgarian IT sector, as well as representatives of NGOs and opinion leaders will be assessing all award nominees. The successful candidates will have to meet the jury’s strict criteria for content, design, functionality, technical performance and originality. BG Site 2013‘s winners will be announced at a ceremony in early November 2013.

SIHRE 2013 Appoints SurveyOnTablet as its Survey Provider
