Telenor offers Survey on Tablet business solution

Sofia, 13 July, 2017 – Telenor corporate clients may now benefit from the Survey on Tablet service which allows them to run real-time surveys and campaigns, as well as to gain in-depth analysis of problem areas in their business.

The service does not require any initial investment in equipment. It is specially developed with the aim to offer Telenor corporate clients the opportunity to get feedback from their customers, to identify any shortcomings in the services they offer, and to react on-the-spot in difficult situations. Telenor corporate clients also have at their disposal a bank of surveys in more than 25 languages.

Survey on Tablet can be easily managed through a convenient interface. Customers can give feedback through tablets or QR codes placed in special locations on the sites. For example, a hotel owner can get feedback from their visitors by placing a device or a QR code at the reception, in the restaurant or in the hotel rooms and get feedback for each of the locations. The system sends instant e-mail alerts in cases of complaints or low ratings.

Survey on Tablet can be used even in areas with no internet access. Though, when an internet connection is established, it automatically syncs the data in the interface of the service.

Another feature of Survey on Tablet is the option to monitor the performance of the employees and link it with their bonuses and pay levels. With the new service, the corporate clients of the operator can also organize marketing campaigns. The uploaded content is highly secure and safe as Telenor provides 24-hour technical support, 7 days a week.

The service, developed by “Survey on Tablet LTD”, is available to both new and existing corporate clients of Telenor with one or a two-year contract. Depending on their needs, Telenor corporate clients may choose between Licence which gives access to Survey on Tablet on a single device or Package which includes a licence, SIM card with 1500 MB of national mobile data and data in roaming for the EU zone and a tablet from select models from the portfolio of the company. The winner is TripAdvisor with shares rising 25% on the news. The news for further OTA consolidation is not good for the other OTA rivals and for most hoteliers. The deal will fuel additional fee revenue for TripAdvisor, which up to now is mostly dependent on advertising fees (Priceline being a major client), and a shot at becoming a one-stop tourist booking spot. Recently, hotel chains like Marriott and Best Western have made deals with TripAdvisor that allow travelers to book rooms through the site.
Soon Booking’s sister booking sites and will soon join the party.

Winner or loser: will reach new customers, especially outside Europe. At the same time some Priceline customers will prefer to use booking platform which will lead to reduced revenue.

Losers: Priceline’s major competitors like Expedia may have to consider their own deals. On the news Expedia saw its stock price plunge 4 percent.

SurveyOnTablet generates 15 times more feedback than & TripAdvisor combined

SurveyOnTablet has just completed its performance research on hotels after three months of careful market monitoring. The results have been phenomenal! The research shows that hotels employing SurveyOnTablet receive on average 15 times more feedback than and TripAdvisor combined. This rate is achieved by using just one device. Performance results grow higher depending on the total number of devices used.

Another key finding of the research is that all hotels using SurveyOnTablet have reported an increase in their ratings on and TripAdvisor. On average our hotel  clients experienced a 0.57 point rise in their rating index. An upsurge in positive reviews online has also been  observed as an effect stemming from the utilisation of SurveyOnTablet .

What this all means is that those hotels are taking the right steps in response to the feedback, analytics and alert system that SurveyOnTablet provides for them. SurveyOnTablet is honoured to receive a nomination for a BG Site 2013 award in the Best Mobile Application category. BG Site is one of the most prestigious web design competitions in Bulgaria. Currently in its 14th year, the competition is still running strong  and growing in popularity with the ever increasing spread of new information technology influence.

Nominations are spread across 13 different categories including websites, mobile and online campaigns. A professional jury made up of some of the best known names in the Bulgarian IT sector, as well as representatives of NGOs and opinion leaders will be assessing all award nominees. The successful candidates will have to meet the jury’s strict criteria for content, design, functionality, technical performance and originality. BG Site 2013‘s winners will be announced at a ceremony in early November 2013.

SurveyOnTablet instigates three fundraising platforms for charity

The SurveyOnTablet team is to launch three different initiatives to raise money for the international water aid charity Just a Drop. The fundraising activities will take place during World Travel Market (WTM) between November 4-7, 2013 at the ExCel Centre, London. The funds raised at this year’s WTM will help bring a lasting supply of clean, safe water to primary school children in two schools in Kenya.

 SurveyOnTablet aims to ensure maximum effectiveness of its fundraising attempts and will therefore triple its efforts by collecting donations on site, holding a raffle and having a group dress up for charity. During the four days of the popular WTM event, the company staff will be wearing themed clothing in support of Just a Drop. This way, the team hopes to stand out against the predominantly formal dress style backdrop and attract more donations for the charity. SurveyOnTablet will also keep a collection tin on its stand and actively invite clients and passers-by to donate money. In addition, in tune with its tech background, the company will carry out a raffle on a tablet. Participants will have to offer a minimum £2 donation to enter the raffle and their details and the draw will be completed on SurveyOnTablet devices.

 As a company creator of customer feedback software and hardware, SurveyOnTablet has also offered to run a free survey for Just a Drop so as to help the charity improve its future work and the productivity of its fundraising efforts. Just a Drop will use the free service at next year’s World Travel Market show.
